Read the interesting story about Rayna DuBose, a basketball player for Virginia Tech. This story shows the need that we all have all of our vaccinations up to date. Read her story here: http://www.amputee-coalition.org/health_promo/hp-0708.pdf

A Moving Documentary
There was an article in the Hays Daily News today about a woman named Mona Reeder who is a photographer for the Dallas News. She is a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Photography. She did a documentary on the effects of poverty, teen pregnancy, health insurance, plus several other issues. This documentary was one of the most moving videos I have ever seen. It shows in stark reality what the conditions of people in poverty in this, the richest nation in the world, faces everyday. To view the video, click this link:

After viewing the video, make sure that you say a prayer for people who have to live in these conditions and for the leaders of our country that they become aware and do something about this terrible epidemic of poverty.
